In this special edition of the rural magazine, Paul Heiney, Ben Fogle and Liz Bonnin visit parts of Britain’s countryside virtually untouched by man. Liz explores an underwater wilderness on Lundy Island off the north Devon coast, home to Britain’s only marine conservation zone and a place teeming with life beneath the waves. Ben heads for the Cairngorms, where he builds a snow cave to stay on the mountain overnight. Paul visits the secret world of Abney Park Cemetery in London before taking in a section of the north Cornish coast. Finally, the three explore the Ennerdale valley in the Lake District, home to a long-running rewilding project.
